What makes this job different from most is that nothing in this room was thrown out, recycled, donated or otherwise gotten rid of-this is not something I recommend, however, it was necessary for this project. What you see in the "Before" pictures are still there but in proper places or "homes" in the "After" pictures.

Added shelves on the wall to showcase special pictures, cards and favourite books. This also helps clear space on the dresser and the night table.

I raised the bar in the closet giving more space at the bottom for shoes. The organizer was already in place but I added bins so that the maximum pairs of shoes could fit per square and could easily be removed. Special hangers that hold multiple like items together, give the closet an airier feel. Nothing was removed from this space.

To the right, I hung two DVD racks on the wall and added a second dresser identical to the first one to add more room for folded clothes.

Aside from being orderly, the space needs to be functional and the dresser is where the client does their hair and makeup. Therefore, acrylic organizers meant for such items keep everything neatly in their place. The smaller side table is set up as a work station with a printer and all work related material. The drawers house printer paper, ink and miscellaneous computer supplies.
